Item technical details: Tough as a tank, yet nowhere near as bulky and extremely lightweight, the scalarworks sync rmr mount is a solid platform for anchoring a trijicon rmr red dot sight firmly to your shotgun's receiver. It's also engineered to sit at the right height for co-witnessing with iron sights. The sync rmr mount attaches to your shotgun using four screws and scalarworks proprietary internal key-slot system. This spreads the recoil force over a larger area to help ensure the rmr doesn't shift. The sync's water-tight mounting platform does not require a sealing plate between it and the battery compartment on the underside of the rmr. Ultra-light, weighs only 0.7 oz mfg: scalarworks. The goal was to create an aimpoint mount that would not lose zero when the mount/optic unit is removed and reinstalled on the firearm multiple times. To test it, scalarworks staff installed an aimpoint pro on an fn scar 17 (7.62 nato chambering) with a leap mount and fired ten 10-round strings, removing and reinstalling the leap mount between each string.
